R&D legislation was brought in line with the age of globalization, a dedicated biotechnology incubator was established, new bilateral R&D agreements were signed, support programs were launched for traditional industries and university R&D centers and procedures were implemented to improve OCS services to high-tech industry.

The OCS will continue to contribute to the positioning of Israel as an Innovative country in the future through focusing on 4 different circles linked together by our budget which allows us to continue working in order to achieve our goals and missions:

1. Developing the international Activities with states, provinces and multinationals around the globe

2. Encouraging biotechnology, nanotechnology and the traditional industry – all of them defined as Preferred Sectors

3. Fostering the academia-industry relations

4. Improving the service that we give to our customers

As Israel’s high-tech industry remains robust, I am confident that when foreign investors formulate or rethink their investment strategies, they recognize that many Israeli companies are based on solid innovative technology and make Israel a primary destination for investment.

For its part, the OCS promises to continue backing innovative companies from their earliest development stages through successful marketing.

I have no doubt that this unique event will bring benefical opportunities to all participants and wish you all a great success.
