イスラエルVCの現状 2007_2

過去数年間、 GDP は 5 %ほどの成長を遂げてきました。通信や伝統的なソフトウェアが成長の多くの成長をもたらしてきました。ただ今後、起業家と投資家へ大きな恩恵をもたらすものは、多分通信を含んだインターネット関連、バイオ、環境技術だと考えられています。

環境技術への投資は進んでいます。イスラエルのベンチャー全体への投資額は 4 億 600 万ドルですが、そのうち、環境技術へは 4 % の 1600 万ドルの投資がされています。(インターネットへは、15 %程の 6400 万ドル)。多くの人は、代替エネルギーや水技術への投資はまだ多くの可能性があると思っています。

代替エネルギー分野ではこの分野では世界的リーダーである Solel Solar Systems、太陽の淡水化プラントMillennium Electoric、水技術では先日紹介したAtlantium 、窒素除去のための革新的な脱窒システムAqWise 、化学物質を使わずに排水処理を行う P2W ( Pollution to Water )、他にも Bio Pure Technologies、 AquaPure、 PML 、CheckLight 、などがあります。これらの技術はまだほとんど日本では知られておりません。どんどん紹介していければと思います。

“There is a rush to enter the field, and many local funds have set up Internet accelerators or other vehicles to get in at the ground floor,” said Gilad Nass, IDC’s Tel Aviv-based research director for emerging technologies.
