Cellotrip is an innovative project established in Israel in 2006.

The purpose of this project is to provide tourists and traveling businessman world wide a multi – language phrasebook using their cell phones.

The phrasebook allows the user to get a translation for useful sentences, queries or single words by SMS.


According to the Israeli ministry of truism, there are 2,000,000 tourists going out of Israel to visit a variety of places. The same number of people is coming into Israel. This means that the target audience is about 4,000,000 people how are traveling out of their countries and have to manage in a language that is different from their own. The numbers of tourists all around the world are hundreds of millions.


Cellotrip is an innovative project whose purpose is to provide tourists and traveling businessman abroad translation services of short sentences, single words, and phrases.


The translation of short sentences, single words, and phrases in a variety of subjects relevant to tourists and traveling businessman such as:


Traveling - examples:
When will the bus come, Where is the train station, I would like to rent a motorcycle


Food - examples:
I would like a cappuccino please, Where can I find a Chinese restaurant, Do you have diet coke


Accommodations - examples:
I would like a room for two, where is the nearest hotel, I like a wake-up call at six.


Shopping - examples:
I need a smaller size, can I get a discount, how much this shirt cost


Health and sports, banking and money, pastimes, countries, countries and central cities and more.
