まずは開催者の今サミット開催にあたっての挨拶。
今回のサミットで話題にされる分野としては、ナノエレクトロニクス、多分散コンピューティング、細胞・遺伝子理論、無線通信技術、検索技術、ナノ医療、オーダーメイド医療、画像技術、医療装置、次世代ネットワーク、イノベーションに対しての試み、認証技術、ナノ半導体が主である。
大きく分類すると、ナノテク、コピュータ・通信関連、医療分野といったところだろうか。
ただ、それぞれの分野に関しては、関連している部分が多い。
ナノ医療は医療全体の基礎になる技術でもあるし、無線通信技術などはこれからのあらゆるネットワーク分野で、基礎になっていく技術であると思う。
また、このサミットでは様々な分野での問題意識・情報の共有、コラボレーション、投資のスピードアップを促すことも予想される。
